Welcome to theDaddy.Guide’s Zoe XL2 Deluxe Stroller Review.  Any moms and dads out there looking for a generously priced double stroller that works well for daily use? I’ve got your perfect match, folks.

Zoe XL2 Deluxe stroller Review

The Zoe Deluxe is the lightest general purpose side-by-side stroller on the market! At only 16 pounds, it’s even lighter than some single strollers, which makes it perfect for traveling or strolling through the city and running errands with your little pals.

Though you cannot expect an all terrain stroller, given the price and weight, I consider it an ideal stroller for daily use within flat surfaces.  Another cool feature of this stroller is that the company allows you to test the stroller indoors, and return it if you aren’t satisfied.  At $249.00 Zoe has not only priced this stroller right, but they’re confident once you take it home, you’ll love it!  I’m relatively certain of that too.

Let’s take a closer look at the the Zoe XL2 Delux and see how it pans out in the Daddy 5-Point Review.

Daddy 5-Point Review

For those of you daddies who just hate reading instructions, the Zoe Deluxe doesn’t even bring a manual! It’s fairly easy to assemble and you can visit our YouTube page for the complete assembly and video instruction manual… WATCH HERE!

The Look

This stroller has a basic lightweight frame, made from aluminum, making it very lightweight.  Plenty of cool colors to choose from as you have a variety of color options  (black, plum, navy, red, yellow, green, aqua, grey, and orange).  Aqua and Navy pictured below:

In addition to being able to choose from various different color options, this double stroller comes with different color wheel caps you can snap onto the wheels of the stroller.  I’m not a big fan of elaborate color schemes, BUT, if you want to be a little eccentric, the Zoe XL2 Delux doesn’t take itself too seriously!

Ease of opening and Closing

This 16 lb stroller is super lightweight. It is actually one of the easiest double strollers to lift, and put away in your car.  Even though the 2XL Delux is a double stroller, it still falls in the ‘Compact’ family based on how it folds (and how easily!).

When folding, the Zoe does not collapse like an umbrella stroller would, but rather folds in half like a compact stroller. It self-stands, but make sure the wheels are in the right direction or else it will fall down. It has an automatic lock and unfolding occurs by unlocking and opening until it locks into place.

To be very clear: This is not an all-terrain stroller. The foam-filled plastic wheels are not exactly its star feature. They are a bit small and flimsy when compared to pricier strollers, however they get the job done when strolling through flat surfaces, and like all other Zoe strollers, the wheels come with a free lifetime warranty. Score!

The front wheel suspension system does help with uneven terrain but I would recommend the Zoe for smooth surfaces like the mall or the airport to avoid difficulty steering or when facing bumps on the sidewalk.  Worked very well for me on the streets of Manhattan, not so well on the bridal path in Central Park though.

The action brakes are easy to set and release, and are sandal friendly, which is always a plus, especially for us Miami folks!

Reclinable seat – The seats recline, er, somewhat.  Due to not being able to lay flat and no head & neck control adapter, this stroller won’t work for your guys before 6 months.  I would also say without the full recline it’s not great for napping, but my kids have fallen asleep standing up, so it’s still quite doable.

Double belly bar – One padded front double belly bar.
